InterContinental Hotels Group appointed former Starwood executive Oliver Bonke as its chief commercial officer for the Americas.

Bonke's responsibilities include overseeing the company's regional sales, marketing, loyalty club and web and mobile platforms. Prior to starting his role at IHG this month, Bonke spent nearly 25 years at Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide, most recently heading sales and marketing in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
