Hilton has launched new coordinator tools and enhancements, including the ability to book and manage stays for other employees, to its Hilton for Business small- and midsized business platform, the company announced Thursday.
Program owners and administrators can now book, modify or cancel reservations on behalf of others, view their team’s reservations in one place and see which employees are staying at Hilton properties to support duty of care.
Hilton said the updates are based on feedback from its more than 400,000 Hilton for Business members, as well as internal customer and traveler research and competitive program analysis.
Frank Passanante, Hilton SVP and global head of sales and Hilton Reservations and Customer Care, said in a statement that the ability to book on behalf of others was the most requested capability from customers.
Hilton for Business, launched in 2023, gives small and midsize businesses tools to book and manage travel with no minimum spend requirement. Members also receive Hilton Honors benefits, portfolio-wide discounts, travel rewards, rapid onboarding and program management.
Hilton said it soon would add more features to Hilton for Business, including the ability to manage reservations for both members and nonmembers of a company’s account and to name travel coordinators or managers without giving them owner-level access. A new program dashboard also will let companies track employee points earning and distribution, as well as spending and booking activity, for better budgeting and visibility, according to Hilton.
