Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts CEO Kathleen Taylor has stepped down from the position,
the company announced on Tuesday. Taylor, who succeeded Four Seasons founder Isadore Sharp as CEO in 2010, has worked in a variety of leadership positions at Four Seasons since joining as the company's corporate counsel in 1989, and Sharp in a statement called her "fundamental to building Four Seasons into the admired and successful company it is today." Executive search firm Ferguson Partners is assisting Four Seasons in finding a new CEO, and the company's nine-member executive leadership team will share the duties in the interim.
