BTN Names Dominion's Kelliher Travel Manager Of The Year
Business Travel News has named Dominion director of travel services Donna Kelliher the 2007 Travel Manager of the Year.
BTN editor-in-chief David Meyer, in announcing the winner last night at the Fairmont Copley Plaza in Boston, cited her "analytical acumen, foresight, powers of persuasion and true commitment to continuous improvement, demonstrated in several different ways, including optimizing advanced ticket purchasing, and the leadership skills deployed so adeptly at the Richmond airport, where she organized travel buyers and local business leaders to recognize the importance of having a diverse air program in order to pursue and win the entrance and retain the presence of a low-cost carrier."
BTN also named as 2007 Best Practitioners Amgen's Debra Blowers for the company's successful credit card fraud prevention program and Walt Disney's Alda Garone for the company's innovative and highly efficient operational configuration.
