New Zealand-based Serko is launching a rebranded expense management tool in North America. Dubbed Zeno Expense, the platform is designed to complement the existing Zeno Travel booking platform, though is available separately as a standalone service.
Zeno already offered expense management functions and Serko also acquired Minneapolis-based expense provider InterplX in late 2018. The new Zeno Expense platform is a "best-of-both-worlds product that incorporates features and services from both products," a Serko spokesperson said.
The rebranded Zeno Expense offers capabilities designed to help client companies manage challenges arising from the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, such as tighter policy controls to increase spending efficiency and reduce fraud. Zeno Expense users can capture receipts and submit expenses as soon as they are incurred, with managers reviewing claims on an ongoing basis to "proactively adapt and enact policy changes, rather than trying to rein in spend reactively," Serko said.
