Sabre has enabled clients to pay for airfare, ancillaries, Amtrak, service fees and credit card fees using virtual cards. It also has introduced a Virtual Payments Ticketer app to enable travel agents to charge seats, bags, service fees and incremental credit card fees to the same virtual card that paid for the original fare. Sabre Virtual Payments now also integrates with about 20 North American carriers that don't process ticketing through ARC, such as Spirit and Frontier. Sable partnered with Conferma to offer these virtual payments and plans to expand them to European rail providers this year.
