Qatar Airways has adopted Airlines Reporting Corp.'s feature that allows EDIFACT purchases to be split between more than one form of payment, ARC announced.
ARC's Multiple Forms of Payment feature enables agencies and customers booking in global distribution systems to combine multiple payment types in a single transaction and streamline exchanges and refunds, which complex booking scenarios be handled without additional workarounds. For example, a traveler could combine a personal card and a corporate card on a single transaction if needed.
Last week, ARC announced Scandinavian Airlines as the first carrier to activate the feature, and ARC said it plans to continue expanding its roster of participating airlines.
