Perk has launched its spend management platform in the U.S.,
following what the company called a successful launch of the platform in
Europe.
With the European launch, Perk, formerly
TravelPerk, said about 40 percent of its new deals in the region now are
for a combined offering of Perk Travel and Perk Spend, and the company expects
the U.S. launch to follow the same path. Currently, the U.S. represents about
30 percent of the company's new business growth globally, and it recently
passed the $1 billion mark in annual U.S. travel transaction value, the company
said.
The Perk Spend platform lets companies integrate their own
corporate card programs and add controls, such as city-level per diem rates as
well as native ERP integrations. The platform allows employees to be reimbursed
directly to their bank accounts without having to go through payroll. Travelers
also can use personal cards to pay on the platform, and Perk said it will soon
add its own corporate card offering for U.S. customers.
The company said its survey of 2,000 U.S. professionals,
conducted between April 15 and April 28, showed that a third still are
submitting expenses manually and a fourth have no formal tool for spend
management.
"U.S. companies are spending more on travel every year,
but the tools to manage it aren't keeping up," Perk co-founder and CEO Avi
Meir said in a statement. "We've built one AI-native travel and spend
platform with agentic capabilities for how American companies actually work."
Perk in 2025 acquired
Swiss spend management platform Yokoy to build a deeply unified travel and
expense offering. In June, the company announced
a $300 million private credit facility to be used in part for the launch of
the spend platform in the United States.
