Expense-monitoring and -auditing software company Oversight Systems now prioritizes expense reports based on number of hours a corporation's internal auditor has to review them. For example, if an auditor has six hours, the tool sends six hours worth of cases, as estimated by Oversight analysis. For corporations with auditing teams, the Intelligent Case Assignment tool assigns cases from the same employee/traveler to one auditor to provide an "employee-centric view instead of a single-issue view," said vice president of product management Nathanael LHeureux. Oversight also can configure the software to assign similar case types to specific auditors to encourage specialization or to mix up assignments to avoid auditor burnout. Oversight began piloting the capability in October.
