Abacus Launches Automatic Accrual Accounting

Expense management provider Abacus now automatically records expenses in the month in which they were incurred or in the system's earliest open month. Abacus bills itself as a real-time expense manager, but this feature aids accrual accounting even for expenses not gathered in real time, such as cash transactions that require the traveler to upload an image of the receipt.
