with nearly 93 percent of its flights arriving to the gate within 15 minutes of schedule, according to FlightStats. North American airlines including regional carriers last month on average operated 79 percent of their flights on time, with AirTran (89.1 percent), Alaska (87.1 percent), Delta (87.1 percent), Southwest (84.9 percent), US Airways (83.3 percent), United (82.3 percent) and American (79.9 percent) performing above average. JetBlue (78.9 percent) and Air Canada (58.6 percent) posted below-average on-time rates, according to FlightStats.
