United Airlines announced that its pilots ratified a new labor deal.
Represented by the Air Line Pilots Association and comprised of 16,000 employees from Continental Airlines and the pre-existing United Airlines before the companies' merger, pilots approved an agreement that is scheduled to run through 2016. United previously reached combined labor deals with flight attendants and technicians, and is "making good progress working together with our remaining employee groups to reach joint agreements to become a fully combined workforce."
