<B> Travel Solutions' Job Fairs Go National</B>

In an effort to address the shortage of travel agents around the country and make travel firm recruiting more efficient, Travel Solutions Group will be taking its Chicago-born job fairs to the national level.

Travel agencies and corporations are invited to participate in the month-long string of job fairs to be held in 11 cities, beginning Sept. 14.

Whether a company chooses to become a national participant for $25,000 or an individual city participant for $3,750, each will have access to resumes collected from each job fair in which they participate, and will get a private meeting room at the fair to interview prospective candidates.

Mark Walton, a Travel Solutions Group partner, said the list of companies signed up so far for the fairs include American Express and Rosenbluth International as national participants; McCord Travel as a participant in Chicago, New York and Los Angeles; WorldTravel Partners in Atlanta; Maritz Travel in Chicago, Dallas and Los Angeles; and Garber Travel in Boston.

The dates and locations of the fairs are: Sept. 14, Boston; Sept. 15, New Jersey; Sept. 16, New York; Sept. 23, Washington, D.C.; Sept. 24, Philadelphia; Sept. 28, Chicago; Oct. 1, Atlanta; Oct. 5, Dallas; Oct. 6, Phoenix; Oct. 13 and Oct. 14, Los Angeles; and Oct. 15, San Francisco.
