The Avis Budget Group as of Jan. 1 will consolidate its operations to two regions: the Americas and International,

the company announced on Monday. Operations previously were divided into three regions: North America; Latin America and Asia/Pacific; and Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Additionally, Avis Budget announced that both North America president Thomas Gartland and Patric Siniscalchi, president of the Latin America and Asia/Pacific region, would retire at the end of this year. North America operations senior vice president Joseph Ferraro will lead the Americas region in the new year, and EMEA president Larry De Shon will lead the international division.
