The Airline Pilots Association confirmed that JetBlue Airways pilots voted to unionize.
Citing results tabulated by the National Mediation Board, ALPA said 71 percent of the carrier's more than 2,600 pilots approved representation. It's the first successful unionization effort by any major JetBlue employee group.
