Southwest Airlines plans to expand service from Dallas Love Field after gaining the rights to two gates at the airport from United Airlines,
the carrier announced on Friday. Southwest has not yet announced full schedules and fares for the expansion but plans in April to add nonstop service between Dallas and Memphis, Milwaukee and Seattle as well as more flights to destinations it currently serves, according to the carrier. The U.S. Department of Justice Antitrust Division and the city of Dallas already have cleared the long-term sub-lease agreement for the gates.
