Singapore-based global distribution system Abacus International appointed Peter Li to general manager of China,
a new role established to oversee "the company's expanding China operations." The appointment follows a license granted to Abacus in January to operate as a foreign GDS. Li has held positions focused on the Chinese travel market with TripAdvisor, TravelClick, Travelzoo and Accor.
