NBTA Committee Seeks To Create Data Standards

At the Master's Program in Washington, D.C., yesterday, past president of the National Business Travel Association and global purchasing manager for Invensys, Cindy Perper, said that NBTA's data privacy committee is working to create industry standards for data transfer. Perper said the committee will be meeting again next month and is trying to get a white paper completed by the NBTA convention in July.

Among the issues the committee is looking at is the possibility of creating new clauses within contracts regarding confidentiality, termination and access to data.
