<B>Diners' Matthei Retires</B>
Diners Club senior vice president Bob Matthei will retire from corporate life Aug. 1, but will offer ad-hoc consulting on travel management, payment systems and sales management. A 20-year travel industry veteran, Matthei was with Diners since 1987, after seven years with The Hertz Corp. as vice president of U.S. sales. He serves on ACTE's board of governors and president's council and was a past member of the NBTA allied leadership council. In 1999, he was named NBTA's Allied Member of the Year.
