Delta Air Lines in December was the most punctual major North American airline

with an on-time ratio of 84.6 percent, its second consecutive month in the top spot, according to FlightStats. It was followed by US Airways and Alaska Airlines (both at 82.9 percent). For a third consecutive month, Air Canada performed worst among the eight North American major carriers. Among all the region's airlines, Hawaiian Airlines continued to set the bar with on-time performance of 91.4 percent.
