Datalex, Siemens Partner For German Wireless Users

Dublin-based travel technology provider Datalex tomorrow will announce it has partnered with Munich-based Siemens Mobile Travel Solutions GmbH to provide its BookIt Matrix technology to support Siemens' recently announced TravelAngel mobile travel solution.

TravelAngel, which is being marketed to travel companies, mobile providers and corporate end-users, initially will provide policy-controlled flight and hotel rebooking, flight schedules and weather information, among other data. A Datalex statement called the deal "critical" to the company's strategy in Germany. Siemens Mobile Travel Solutions in January announced plans to offer the system to 3,000 Siemens employees following a three-month test.
