according to FlightStats. North American carriers during November delivered 80.4 percent of flights to the gate within 15 minutes of schedule. Among the eight largest U.S.-based carriers, excluding regional partners, Delta Air Lines (84.5 percent), Virgin America (83.2 percent), Southwest Airlines (82.9 percent) and JetBlue Airways (86.4 percent) had above-average on-time ratings, according to FlightStats. US Airways (80 percent), United Airlines (78.3 percent) and American Airlines (76.5 percent) had below-average ratings for the month.
