Among the eight largest U.S.-based carriers, excluding regional partners, Virgin America (85.5 percent), US Airways (79.2 percent), American (77.7 percent), United (74 percent), Delta (73.6 percent) and Southwest (67.2 percent) posted above-average on-time ratings. JetBlue (62.6 percent) posted a below-average rating, according to FlightStats.
