Airberlin promoted Roberto Cuesta Jr. to vice president of sales and marketing for the Americas,

the carrier announced Tuesday. Cuesta, a former ISS Global Marine Travel sales manager who joined Airberlin as the U.S. commercial director in June 2013, succeeds Titus Johnson, who is "pursuing other opportunities," according to the carrier. In the role, Cuesta will oversee continued expansion of Airberlin's sales operations and marketing strategies in the Americas, according to the company.
