Meetings and events travel platform
TempoTrip has partnered with Cvent to create an integration that enables
attendee information to flow “seamlessly” between the two systems.
With the integration, TMCs can connect
attendee registration captured in Cvent with travel booking and approval
workflows in TempoTrip, according to the companies.
TempoTrip CEO Maurita Baker told BTN the current Cvent integration uses “dynamic,
URL-based deep links” and Cvent’s data merge fields to automatically create a
personalised TempoTrip booking link for each attendee.
Baker said the company is also working with customers on requirements for a
native server-to-server API integration, targeted for Q4 2026, which would
allow for “deeper synchronisation between registration and travel management”.
Designed for group travel, meetings and events, crew movements and
project-based travel, TempoTrip was originally developed within Illinois-based
TMC Options Travel’s proprietary technology stack. It was spun off as a
standalone company last February “to make the platform available to other
travel management companies”.
Options Travel remains a customer, along with Cain Travel,
Christopherson Travel, Travel One, Prestige Global Meeting Source and Travel
Leaders Conference & Travel, among others.
While customers are currently based in the U.S. and Canada, Baker said
the company is planning to expand its footprint internationally.
TempoTrip supports multiple languages and global
bookings through its GDS connectivity, and integrates with expense management
platforms including Nexonia, Captio and Emburse, according to the company.
