Charlene Rabideau
BCD Meetings & Events this week named Charlene Rabideau managing director of North America. She was previously BCD M&E’s SVP of Meetings Management for North America.
The move is part of a restructuring in which the formerly independent services of the Meetings Management and Event Solutions divisions are administered by the managing director role for the region, according to a BCD M&E spokesperson.
The Meetings Management function includes strategic meetings management sales, operations, account management, implementation and performance optimization. Rabideau now also will oversee those areas, as well as the company’s Experience and Events Solutions business line, The Collective, which also includes the company’s in-house media and production offering.
Rabideau in a statement said she expects the new unified leadership and structure will streamline the BCD M&E customer experience with single, integrated team offering meeting and event services.
With more than 25 years of experience in the industry, 17 years with BCD M&E, Rabideau has experience in event management, incentives, strategic meetings management, global client management and sports marketing, according to the company.
