Georgia-based travel management company Travel Incorporated has launched a new travel intelligence platform that combines historical data, traveler tracking and predictive analytics into a single experience, the TMC announced.
The TMC's TripInsights platform was designed to bring together data that typically has required travel program managers to pull together analysis across disparate booking, reporting and risk tools, the company said.
Its capabilities include analyzing historical data to show spending patterns, travel behavior, policy compliance and supplier performance, according to the TMC. Beyond the historical data, TripInsights integrates such information as destination risk data, flight path advisories and risk alerts from Riskline alongside traveler itineraries and airlines schedule changes and delays. That can both help organizations communicate with travelers before major problems arise as well as keep track of cancellations and exchanges to prevent lost value from unused tickets.
Last week, Travel Incorporated announced a new intelligence engine in its traveler-tracking program to help companies better identify and communicate with travelers at risk during natural disasters and other disruptive events.
TripInsights also uses AI to analyze future trends, with such data as future flight schedules and supplier market dynamics. That can help programs spot significant cost increases, volume trends and opportunities with rate negotiations, according to Travel Incorporated.
