Georgia-based travel management company Travel Incorporated has added a new intelligence engine within its traveler-tracking platform to identify and communicate with at-risk travelers.
PTA Travel Alerts, in Travel Incorporated's People Track Assist platform, combines global event intelligence and traveler itineraries to identify which travelers are at risk when such events as natural disasters, public health events or security incidents occur. It pulls data from sources including Cirium, Riskline and the TMC's proprietary duty-of-care tools, according to Travel Incorporated.
Organizations can then provide those travelers relevant guidance about the event, the TMC said.
"Traveler safety is no longer about just sending a text message when a flight is canceled or when a crisis occurs,” Travel Incorporated head of product Eric Almond said in a statement. "PTA Travel Alerts closes the gap between risk detection and response by giving travelers and travel managers the intelligence, context, and immediate steps required to stay out of harm’s way and keep operations moving smoothly."
Travel Incorporated said it is working to add more features to its People Track Assist platform increase its ability to identify, understand and respond to risks.
