Travel data solution provider Travelogix has signed its first direct agreement with a corporate customer, committing to supply travel reporting and data management to Danish pump manufacturer Grundfos.
Travelogix, which provides data management services to several travel management companies, will do the same for Grundfos, integrating pre-trip and post-invoice booking data from the company's TMC network as well as organizational data from Grundfos' internal systems, via Travelogix's Analytix platform. With that data integration, Grundfos will have full access to Travelogix's modules to analyze travel spending, traveler behavior and program performance, the companies said.
Grundfos and Travelogix also will integrate with Thrust Carbon for reporting and managing carbon emissions.
"Analytix provides us with the ability to create fully customized dashboards for our organization, enabling deeper drill-down into data," Grundfos travel sustainability lead and communications specialist Nomi Kustosz Andersen said in a statement. "In addition, the option to combine spend data with emissions data strongly supports Grundfos' business travel emissions strategy."
Grundfos is a sizeable client for Travelogix, with about 20,000 employees and annual revenue of €4.5 billion. The direct-to-corporate agreement is an "exciting step in the evolution of our company," Travelogix founder and CEO Chris Lewis said in a statement. "This strategic expansion brings the solutions we've perfected over 14 years in the TMC world directly to the corporate buyer community."
