AI travel technology platform Oversee has launched a new conversational AI chat feature for its agent automation tool as well as a broader redesign of its platform, the company announced.
The new chat feature is in the Assist mode of Oversee's AgentSee tool, which automates such travel workflows as bookings, exchanges, cancellations and fare rule checks. In the Assist mode, travel consultants still can review or approve tasks completed by the tool, as opposed to Execute mode, in which the tasks are automated from start to finish.
With the chat feature, agents can perform those reviews in plain language, asking questions, requesting changes and suggesting next steps. The idea was to give a similar experience that agents already are used to in tools such as ChatGPT, according to Oversee chief product officer Oded Zilinsky.
"The goal is to make AgentSee feel familiar from the first interactions, while giving consultants a faster way to review the work, make changes and move a request forward," he said in a statement.
In addition, Oversee announced a new design of its full platform, with its analytics for both reshopping and sourcing in the same interface as AgentSee for a "cleaner" view, the company said.
