Internova Travel Group, whose portfolio of brands includes travel management company Altour, has launched a central hub for AI research, development and deployment across its portfolio, the company announced.
The hub, Internova's AI Center of Excellence, will unify AI efforts for Internova's brand portfolio, building on efforts already developed by the brands—including Altour's Intelligence suite, launched last year. It consists of cross-functional product teams, developers and analysts alongside external partners such as Microsoft to create solutions, the company said.
"Our AI Center of Excellence is not just about adopting new technology," Casey Soto, who is leading the Center for Excellence for Internova, said in a statement. "It's about embedding innovation across Internova to ensure our advisors have the most advanced tools to succeed."
Among the areas of focus for the hub are agentic AI operations that can automate processes such as building itineraries and making bookings, generative AI for advisors and drawing intelligence from data in partnership with Microsoft Azure AI. The hub also is tasked with establishing governance around security, ethics and transparency, the company said.
Besides Altour, Internova's brands also include Your Event Solutions on the corporate side as well as luxury advisor services such as Global Travel Collection, leisure services such as The Vacation Group and Travel Leaders Network, altogether representing more than 100,000 travel advisors around the world. The Travel Leaders Corporate brand was absorbed into Altour last year.
