Dave Harvey, the former head of Southwest Airlines' Southwest Business, has launched a consulting company based in Dallas, he announced Wednesday.
Harvey Global Advisory's core service areas include commercial strategy and performance, sales design and effectiveness, distribution and payment innovation, travel program optimization, AI and automation, and digital and capability transformation, according to the consultancy.
The firm serves "airlines, hospitality brands, travel technology companies, and related service providers seeking to scale efficiently and sustainably in an evolving global marketplace."
"Travel and hospitality are at an inflection point," Harvey said in a statement. "We exist to bridge traditional industry expertise with new digital, data and AI-driven capabilities, driving meaningful transformation with measurable results."
Most recently, Harvey was Wheels Up's chief commercial officer, and prior to that position spent 25 years at Southwest. His positions there included chief sales officer, VP of Southwest Business and VP of corporate sales and distribution.
BTN has named Harvey to its annual Most Influential list four times—in 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2023.
