Corporate Traveler is moving its sports and entertainment specialist division, Stage and Screen, under the Corporate Traveler brand globally, which the travel management company said would help it expand its services for the industry both within the U.S. and globally.
Stage and Screen has been around more than 30 years and has operated in the United States for nearly 20, with clients including such U.S. professional sports teams as the New York Mets, the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Houston Rockets, as well as music tours and film and TV productions—including work for Paramount Global, according to Corporate Traveler. Bringing it under the Corporate Traveler brand brings "a unified global presence" across the U.S., U.K., Canada and New Zealand, the company said.
Corporate Traveler USA president John Van den Heuvel said the segment has been one of the TMC's strongest growth areas in the United States. With the rebranding under Corporate Traveler, the division will be able to combine its expertise with the wider resources of Corporate Traveler and Flight Center Travel Group, the TMC's parent company.
A survey of clients in the industry showed that nearly 80 percent wanted their travel services provider to have a global presence, according to Stage and Screen global managing director Tiziano Galipo.
"The unified brand will deliver on this expectation with dedicated teams who understand the unique demands of moving production crews, sports teams and touring artists," Galipo said in a statement. "The brand unification will allow us to focus on eliminating logistical hurdles so our clients can concentrate on their moment in the spotlight."
