Multinational media and entertainment conglomerate Paramount Global
made strides in global program consolidation in 2024 with a major merger on the
horizon, which has led to more integration work this year.
CWT serves as Paramount Global's consolidated
travel management company in the U.S., and it also handles 90 percent of the
company's air bookings globally. Following its implementation of CWT with CBS
Sports and its EU
markets into the CWT global ops hub the prior year, the company in 2024
completed CWT program setup in Australia. It did the same in Australia for its
booking tool, Concur Travel.
Sports and entertainment travel specialist
Stage and Screen, part of Flight Centre Travel Group, also handles a portion
of Paramount Global's travel needs.
Paramount Global spent $61 million in U.S.-booked air in 2024, a
slight increase of $1 million compared with its spending in 2023. The company
in 2024 also conducted a request for proposals
for global hotel transient business and
implemented AI in its travel approvals process via work with software and data
management company Trondent.
In August of this year, Paramount Global completed its merger with
media production company Skydance Media, forming the Los Angeles-based
Paramount Skydance Corp. The company is working on consolidating
the travel programs post-merger.
