CWT has appointed David Zimmer to the new position of head
of channel evolution. He will develop options for the way travelers want to communicate
with CWT, such as web or smartphone, the company said. Based in London, Zimmer
will report to CWT chief traveler experience officer and EVP Niklas Andreen and
will sit on the company's traveler experience leadership team. Prior to joining
CWT, Zimmer held various leadership positions in the travel industry, most
recently as Travelport global head of innovation and data for hospitality.
