Mexico City-based spend management platform Mendel has partnered with BCD Travel for an integrated offering, the companies announced.
The partnership lets clients use BCD's travel services and portfolio along with the Mendel platform, which creates "an integrated, flexible and simple solution to operate with greater control and efficiency," Mendel head of travel Laura Madriñán said in a statement. It also incorporates Mendel's online booking tool, which it launched about a year ago.
Mendel said the partnership is part of its strategy to develop an "open ecosystem of partners in corporate travel," working with leading agencies in different markets for integrated offerings. Other announced partnerships have included Altour in Mexico and TTS in the Southern Cone of South America, according to Mendel co-founder Alan Karpovsky.
