Amadeus Cytric has launched a global partner program for travel management companies with a goal of fostering "long-term, mutually beneficial relationships," the travel and expense platform announced.
With the Prime Partner program, TMCs will have access to exclusive operational support and have the chance to get a first look at Amadeus Cytric's innovations, according to the company.
"Prime Partners will not only benefit from tailored go-to-market strategies and demand generation resources, but also from a stronger voice in our innovation journey," Amadeus Cytric global partners manager Austin Lorenzen said in a statement.
Initial partners in the program include Arrive Agencies, BCD Travel, Der Business Travel, Lufthansa City Center, Nautalia Empresas, Travel Support and Viajes El Corte Inglés Empresas.
The program announcement comes on the heels of competitor SAP Concur's announcement of partnership for a combined offering, Complete, with American Express Global Business Travel. Concur Travel president Charlie Sultan said last week at Business Travel Show America that Concur is currently reworking its own partnership program for TMCs, with its current "Select" and "Elite" designations scheduled to be retired at the end of the year. Sultan said the company still plans to work with other TMCs in servicing and selling Concur Travel.
Amadeus Cytric said it has set "robust criteria" in operations, certification and governance for participation in the Prime Partner program. It will conduct quarterly business reviews "to ensure sustained alignment and continuous improvement," according to the company.
