Radisson Hotel Group has launched a global long-stay offering aimed at corporate travel buyers, travel management companies and relocation companies, the company announced.
Long Stays by Radisson Hotels consolidates hotel and apartment inventory across the group's portfolio under a standardized commercial framework, including tiered pricing by length of stay, fixed booking conditions and uniform commission structures.
Radisson director of global accounts Yovhanna Billard said there are a variety of reasons why someone might use a long-stay property, such as relocating family, launching a new office or working with a client.
"That's why we thought that it made more sense for us to create this proposition, which will bring together different brands, different experiences for one promise across our hotels," Billard said during a media event Monday at the Global Business Travel Association Convention in Chicago.
The offering is designed to eliminate the need for partners to negotiate separate agreements for each property. The program integrates with existing distribution channels, including global distribution system channels and corporate agreements, and layers in a Radisson Rewards incentive of an additional 20 percent points for eligible bookers and planners on long-stay reservations.
On the guest side, participating hotels will offer dedicated contacts, pre-arrival planning and housekeeping and in-room services tailored to extended stays.
Billard said hotels with the facilities and desire to support long stays can opt in to the program; it is not mandated. She said Radisson already has about 75 properties across the Europe, Middle East and Africa and Asia Pacific regions signed on to support the initiative.
The program is live now across participating Radisson properties.
