Hyatt Hotels Corp. has named Mark Vondrasek chief commercial
officer. Vondrasek was only recently
appointed global head of loyalty, in September. Hyatt CEO Mark Hoplamazian
said Vondrasek's experience and success in elevating the World of Hyatt loyalty
program make him well suited for his new role.
Vondrasek, who starts March 1, will lead Hyatt's commercial
services organization, driving and enhancing guest and customer engagement. He
will still oversee the World of Hyatt and will head new growth platforms like Miraval
and Exhale, along with global sales, revenue management, distribution strategy,
corporate marketing, brands, communications, digital, consumer insights and
global contact centers.
Hyatt on Monday
also announced that Jim Chu will serve as global head of development and owner
relations to improve global development activity, and James Francque will serve
as head of transactions to identify new investment opportunities.
