Year-over-year growth in average daily rate
and revenue per available room at U.S. hotels in June was the highest for any
month since March 2023, according to STR hospitality data from CoStar.
June's results were bolstered by the FIFA
World Cup, and marked the fifth consecutive month of ADR, occupancy and RevPAR
growth. June RevPAR increased 8.4 percent year over year to $120.97, driven by
a 6.7 percent hike in ADR to $173.76 and a 1.6 percent bump in occupancy to
69.6 percent.
RevPAR in 24 of CoStar's top 25 markets
increased year over year. San Francisco posted the largest increases in
occupancy (7.9 percent to 80.5 percent) and RevPAR (31.2 percent to $212.87),
while Miami recorded the largest jump in ADR (21.7 percent to $264.42).
