Location and History
Al Bustan Palace is located out along Oman's dramatic coastline, about 30 kilometers south of central Muscat and Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, a 25-30 minute drive.
This renowned hotel was commissioned by Sultan Qaboos in the 1980s to host the first GCC Summit in 1985. The most-skilled builders, artisans and tradespeople carefully created the regal, extravagant interiors from the finest materials. Today it's a historic landmark.
