Wyndham Hotel Group has created a new Hawthorn Suites prototype designed to cut development costs by almost half,

the company announced Thursday. The 96-suite prototype for the extended-stay brand features an open lobby space, exterior space with an entrance patio and rooms with updated bathrooms and color schemes. Wyndham used the prototype design in a recent multimillion-dollar conversion of 15 hotels to the Hawthorn Suites brand.
