The average second-quarter daily rate at Wyndham Worldwide hotels increased to $68.78, up 1.4 percent from the prior year,
the company reported on Wednesday. ADR for the Wyndham brand was up 6.1 percent, and also increased for the Wingate, Ramada, Days Inn, Howard Johnson, Travelodge, Microtel, Knights Inn and Dream brands. ADR decreased for the Tryp, Hawthorn, Baymont, Super 8 and Night brands. Occupancy for hotels across all Wyndham brands increased year over year by 0.3 percentage points to 55.2 percent. Wyndham Worldwide's net income for the quarter was $133 million, up from $128 million in the second quarter of 2012.
