The average second-quarter daily rate across all Choice Hotels International properties increased by 2 percent year over year
with
higher prices for each Choice brand except Clarion, which was down 1.7 percent
for the quarter. Quarterly occupancy across the full Choice portfolio increased
by 2.3 percentage points year over year to 54.1 percent, with growth reported
for every brand. The company reported a marginal increase in second-quarter net
income to $27.6 million.
