The average daily rate at Wyndham Hotel Group properties in the fourth quarter of 2011 increased by 1.1 percent year over year.
Rates were up across all Wyndham brands except Super 8 and Tryp, which posted rate declines of 3.5 percent. Fourth-quarter occupancy increased by 1.7 percentage points to 47 percent. Full-year occupancy was 50.2 percent, up from 48 percent in 2010. Wyndham Worldwide’s net income for the quarter was $56 million, down from $78 million a year ago.
