The average daily rate at U.S. hotels in June increased 4.3 percent year over year to $116.20,
according to STR. Occupancy increased 2.9 percent to 71.7 percent. The largest ADR increases among major markets were in Nashville (14.9 percent to $125.93), San Francisco (12.9 percent to $213.54) and Seattle (11.5 percent to $150.14). June ADR dropped in two major markets: Philadelphia (down 4.6 percent to $123.70) and Chicago (down 1.7 percent to $151.38).
