The average daily rate at Preferred Hotel Group properties during the third quarter increased by 4 percent year over year,
the company announced on Tuesday. Preferred also reported that third-quarter reservation revenue was up 26 percent year over year and room nights up 21 percent. Group president Lindsey Ueberroth said that reservations on the books for November are up 18 percent and for December 29 percent compared with this time last year. Preferred added 42 new hotels to its system during the quarter, including the Buddha Bar Hotel Paris, the Talbott Hotel in Chicago, the Kyoto Tokyu Hotel and the Dhow Palace in Dubai.
