The average daily rate at InterContinental Hotels Group properties increased 1.9 percent year over year during the first quarter,
the company reported on Friday. ADR increased in the Americas (2.4 percent), Europe (0.8 percent) and Africa, the Middle East and Asia (3.5 percent) but declined in Greater China (down 1 percent). IHG's global occupancy increased by 2.4 percentage points and was up across all regions.
