The average daily rate at Hyatt Hotels Corp. properties increased by 3.4 percent year over year during the third quarter,

the company announced. ADR was up 4.9 percent at full-service properties in North America, by 5.5 percent at select-service properties in North America and up 0.4 percent in hotels outside of North America. Systemwide occupancy decreased by 0.2 percentage points to 73.3 percent during the quarter. Net income was $23 million, up from $14 million in the third quarter of 2011.
