Omni Hotels & Resorts agreed to acquire five U.S. resorts from KSL Capital Partners and on July 1 will convert them to the Omni brand,

according to the hotel company. The five properties are the Barton Creek Resort & Spa in Austin, Texas; The Grove Park Inn in Asheville, N.C.; the Homestead in Hot Springs, Va.; La Costa Resort and Spa in Carlsbad, Calif.; and Rancho Las Palmas Resort & Spa in Rancho Mirage, Calif. The acquisition will add 2,362 rooms and 304,000 square feet of meeting space to Omni's portfolio.
